Thursday, 02 September 2010 13:50

T.I. has had a run-in with the law once again. The King of the South and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle have been arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over Tip and Tiny for making an illegal U-turn while they were driving in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 1). After officers smelled marijuana in the vehicle, the couple was taken into custody in West Hollywood, Calif. They remained in custody as of press time and are scheduled to make an appearance at the Beverly Hills Municipal Court on Friday. Bail was set at $10,000.

Where is Flippa? PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 18 August 2010 19:40

Since being arrested earlier this year in the United States, there are still uncertainties about the whereabouts of Andrew 'Flippa Mafia' Davis or if he will be deported to Jamaica in the near future.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website, 31-year-old Davis has been released since April 9, 2010.

However, when contacted, Temple Black from the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said, "I can confirm there is an ICE detainer but I cannot provide any further details based on our privacy policy."

An ICE detainer, according to the Immigration Policy Center website immigrationpolicy.org, is a "tool used by ICE and other Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials to identify potentially deportable individuals who are housed in jails or prisons nationwide.

An immigration detainer is an official request from ICE to another law enforcement agency (LEA) - such as a state or local jail - that the LEA notify ICE prior to releasing an individual from local custody so that ICE can arrange to take over custody."

Liquid in trouble again? PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 16 July 2010 13:13

ZJ Liquid, real name Michael Brissett, may have found himself in trouble once again. Speculation is active as to whether disciplinary action will be taken against the popular ZJ after an incident that took place during his 'Fresh 2 Death' segment on Wednesday.

The ZIP FM disc jock played an unedited version of Andrew and Wada Blood's new song Beggy Beggy on Wednesday in which an expletive was aired. The ZJ immediately covered up the blunder by switching to another song but not before it was noticed by a number of listeners.
